Took me 7 years to get where I am now, producing TVC for brands. If I compare myself going through the same timeline with and without film school, I should’ve settle my production company 3 years earlier. There are so much “intl. regulations” and “unwritten rules” that only real productions people know.

@7:16 you show a dmx connection screen on the MC pro, where is that screen in the menu system. I can't find it. Also linking reliably is not covered in these instructions. I'm having a heck of a time getting more than one MC pro linked at a time. You've got that great Bluetooth and wifi data channel you could use to do all that insteat of all that menu diving. Why not use all the great tech you have in the unit to make it simpler to use? I understand the need to make it backward compatible with dmx only lights, but can't you have a seperate process for more modern Apurture lights? The best of both universes, so to speak.

Is the (regular) light dome III too heavy for 200d S? Isn't it not recommended for the Amaran 100d/200d S lights or will this Light Dome III work on the 200d S still?

I think it would be fun to build community by going to school. I would like to do Film Concentration and dive into script writing too, but I want to be an actress. I want to learn about film & acting as much as possible.

When you put the 1200d outside the window and have the camera straight towards the window, sometimes you could clearly see there's a hotspot (like 4:55) which is a light behind the window, how do you avoid having that kind of situation? Like raising the light stand higher so the camera can't see the light source?

I’m having difficulty not seeing the light reflections in the subject wearing glasses.

Filmschool teaches you 1 things: Gatekeeping is real. The whole industry is based on gatekeeping and often talent is not important. In 99% of cases just the money of your parents decides who gets the job.
